You got the right idea. Find more old action game music like that. Try syphon filter, Metal gear, or my favorite: Dynasty Warriors. They're really great games, and remixes would sound really awesome.

I wish people would stop trying to make something good out of a cheap keyboard and crappy video game. It really doesn't do much for me because I know it's all just so...fake.
While this sort of thing may have been popular in the 80s,it's all outdated now, and 80s music was horrible in the first place.Whenever I hear keyboard music on NG, I'm not that impressed.
Sorry to be harsh on you, but I think I have to say this just once. Not to just you, but to everyone who's using a keyboard to make music, and while this one might be a little better than most songs, it's still boring to listen to.
